OVERVIEW
After a decade, Northern Illinois University (NIU) has renamed New Residence Hall to Fanny Ruth Patterson Complex. Patterson became the first African-American student to graduate from NIU (then NISNS).
As a Graphic Design and Social Media Assistant for NIU's Housing Department, I was assigned to create social media graphics to promote the Renaming Ceremony as well as design the mural inside of the Fanny Ruth Patterson Community Center.
